- Use cling film or a freezer bag to wrap it up properly so that no parts are exposed
- Label it and date it.You don't need to do anything fancy in fact a permanent marker will do the job.
- Though it may vary according to ingredients a good rule of thumb is to use all within a month of freezing.
- Basic Cookie dough can be sliced frozen and put straight but as a general rule I would say defrost thoroughly and continue as if the dough had just been chilled.
